Saharaganj gets award

Lucknow: On the occasion of World Disability Day, Saharaganj was honoured with a
special award for making a benchmark in implementing and executing their
responsibilities towards the disabled. Assembly Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey
conferred this award on Sahara Infrastructures and Housing. Assistant general
manager worker of Sahara Infrastructure and Housing, Asad Ahmad, accepted this
honour on behalf of the company. Minister of state for handicapped welfare Shyam
Narian chaired the ceremony. Accepting the award Ahmad said; “It gives me
immense pleasure to receive this award on behalf of Sahara India Pariwar.
Disabled persons encounter many obstacles that prevent them from moving about
freely and safely. By creating a barrier free environment, we have made an
effort to give participation and equality to physically challenged persons in
all aspect of mainstream community life”.
