
Sahara Housing to develop
township in 217 towns

Lucknow: Leading real estate company, Sahara Infrastructure and Housing (SIH)
will develop ‘Sahara City Homes’ townships in 217 Indian cities. The Chairman of
Sahara Group, Subrata Roy Sahara, laid the foundation stone of the first of
these townships in Lucknow on Thursday. On this occasion, he told that the
township has been designed by renowned architect, Hafiz Contractor, and it will
be the first fully air conditioned residential area in the country. Interacting
with the reporters, Head, Sahara Infrastructure and Housing, Sri Sushanto Roy,
said that the proposed township in 200 acres of land will cost Rs.2000 crores.
He further said that the construction of this township is going on in full swing
and the possession of property will begin in the year 2009. Sri Roy said that
these townships would be developed in tier I, II, and III cities. Agencies.
