Sahara Homes launched

Lucknow: Subrata Roy, the owner of the Rs.70, 000 crore worth Sahara empire,
inaugurated the Sahara City Homes project yesterday. The launch was marked with
the laying of a gold brick at the first floor of the construction block by
Subrata Roy himself. The project covers around 217 cities spanning across 27,125
acres of land. The project would include commercial plots on 30.3 lakh square
metres. The total area of residential schemes is 1008.4lakh sq mt.
In Lucknow, the project will come up on Hardoi-Bypass on National Highway 24 on
a land covering 200 acres.
Every such township in each city of the country would comprise of a shopping
mall, three-screen multiplex, fully- developed Sahara hospital with a 100
percent back-up uninterrupted electric supply, satellite, free computer to every
flat, etc.
Ownership would be given in 2009.
